Fragmented Influence

Fragmented Influence by Karen Gadient, 2017

Fragmented Influence. Pastel, watercolor, ink, and digital mixed media.

I’ve been busy, so I thought having the ‘Mixed Media Monday’ prompt would help me keep up with posting to the blog. But I think I’ll just post when I can and make sure it’s at least weekly. I’ve been doing more design work and less painting but I just bought myself fresh art supplies and I know I’ll be experimenting with them, so I’ll try to share some fun stuff here. 🙂

Hope you’re having a lovely April!

  1. Sounds like you will be having more fun creating!

  2. Lots going on with this one, Karen. One of those that you could look at for a long while.

  3. Loving those colour combinations, so pretty! It’s funny how looking at colours you like makes you feel better. I say funny, because, I’m trying to work out how that works… how a colour can be comforting. I guess our minds our either complex places or so simple we’ve missed the obvious!

Good to hear you’ve been designing more, will be interesting to see what you’ve been creating. But yes, don’t push yourself to post more than you want. Frequency in posts might gain more Google views, but quality, I’m sure, is what brings readers back. So take it easy! 🙂

    • Thanks! You too, with posting–although wonderful that you’ve gotten back into photography, as you have such an eye for it. While you’re painting and decorating, I’ll be doing a bit of the same, plus some gardening. We’ll have to email about our domestic adventures. 🙂
