Underbrush by Karen Gadient, 2016

Underbrush. Acrylic and pastel combined with digital mixed media.

I really did this one as a bit of art therapy, as I’ve been otherwise working on more graphic-design-y types of projects and wanted a distraction. Also, I have an abundance of overly-vivid colors (read: neon) in acrylic that I need to find some use for―this incorporated a few of those. Have a great week!

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience. ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Oh my, I do love this one. It has a lot of movement and texture. This is a perfectly fitting Emerson quote also. Thank you so much for sharing this treat.
