Black and White: Variance

Variance by Karen Gadient, 2016

Variance. Another black and white design for October. This one is a mix of acrylic, ink, and graphite, with digital postwork. Going to be doing these pieces weekly for October, but I might keep them up if you like them.

Black and white, shadow and light. What do you see within this artwork?

  1. I see a flower in the upper left corner.

  2. I see the bark of a tree, close up. Not too sure why…..

  3. Wonderful! Lovely textures, Karen.

  4. Such flair. Real talent. So much within 2 colours.
