Creative Heart

Creative Heart by Karen Gadient, 2016

Creative Heart. Acrylic, ink, and digital mixed media. More experimenting with last year’s scrapped scans of traditional media, mixed with digital work.

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. ― Thornton Wilder

  1. It’s hard to imagine how you create so many gorgeous digital drawings. Your brain would be fun to wander through.

    • Thanks so much, Jacqui! Although that one, and most of my work these days, is mostly traditional art media (scanned in) and just edited with some digital layers included. Unlike a few years ago, I spend most of my time now at my real-life easel.

  2. Just love the beautiful colours, the abstraction…it’s a good feel abstraction…warm regards Karen

  3. Seems like a rainbow being mixed, almost delicious, 🙂

  4. ❤ it 🙂 anything with hearts always grabs my attention ❤

  5. Tell me if I’m crazy but when I look at this work, I see an urban sidewalk scene with people moving along the on the lower right and a building facade on the upper left. That heart seems like it is a sculpture next to a tree. That is what I immediately saw when I looked at this one.
