Stormy Sea

Stormy Sea by Karen Gadient, 2015

Marker and ink drawing from my sketchbook, scanned to add digital elements.

I’ve discovered that sketchbooks are a great place to keep your art; you can always scan to share and it’s easier to store stacks of mixed media and watercolor sketchbooks rather than racks of canvas and boards.

  1. Ah yes! My favorite colors! Awesome.

  2. I love the way you move your work from traditional to digital. This reminds me of the sea churning up ice in the midst of a storm.

  3. I really like your abstract paintings, really wonderful.
