Yep, those are some sharp colors. Done with acrylic paint on Strathmore acrylic paper (first time using, really like) while listening to Jimi Hendrix.

“If it’s too loud, you’re too old.” ― credited most often to Ted Nugent, although I’m sure versions of that quote go back a heckuva long time.

  1. First thing that came to my mind was “Very Berry”, love the vibrance of it !

  2. Heh, it has the feeling of a small mob of people at a club, yabbing at one-another, waiting for a good dance song.

And I thought that before reading the Hendrix and Nugent references!

  3. Yeah, someone other than Nugent must have said that. We can hope, right? πŸ˜‰

  4. No! It’s never too be loud! πŸ˜€ Loud is good if you can handle it. If brightness looks too bright on me these days I’ll put it in the room or a bag instead. I love dark colours too, but you’ve got to have bright in your life – somewhere! It is brightly sharp but it looks great especially on the cushion – ideal!

Looking at your Society6 page and admiring the new design I suddenly realised I always forget to look to see what other arty things they have for sale. This might be a real sin me giving a link to another artist, but I found this and it just made me laugh – couldn’t help it!

Okay, to be fair I’ll give you a link too. If I had a laptop – which unfortunately I don’t 😦 but if I did, I’d definitely go for this skin – gorgeous trees. Still love that design very much, and it looks very cool as a laptop cover! πŸ™‚

Still lingering before my break, so this will be the last time I’ll pass by until July, but I’m sure I’ll see your designs on Twitter a few times in between now and then. And the email is coming soon. That sounds like a movie that’s being released, doesn’t it?! πŸ˜‰

  5. Great colors. A wild and yet controlled painting.
