Yellow Kaleidoscopes

Yellow Kaleidoscopes by Karen Gadient, 2015

Yellow kaleidoscopes for #KaleidoSaturday from today and a previous week. The top one was created from a bit of scanned watercolor and the bottom one made from a snapshot of a sunflower bouquet at the grocery. πŸ™‚

Have a lovely weekend!

  2. They are mesmerizing! How beautiful!

  3. Wonderful! They remind me of India.

  4. I especially like the 2nd one. Lovely work, Karen

  5. I love the first one! The colours are so beautiful.

  6. That’s very clever to turn your snapshot into a piece of art, I can’t imagine it as it was – it must be very transformed. I can see now where some designs for paper or gift card might come from. I hadn’t thought about photography being manipulated to create that effect. But it make sense! πŸ™‚

    • I’m always sneaking pictures of grocery bouquets, even though I rarely buy one. They’re so colorful and just perfect for making kaleidoscopes. πŸ™‚ Sometimes the produce section is good for color ideas too.

  7. Very neat. I love them Karen. Best wishes. Aquileana πŸ˜€
