Colorful View from the Water

Colorful View from the Water by Karen Gadient, 2015

While organizing my files, I discovered a wider version of a blue-and-white artwork I did last year and I remembered how much I liked it—so I reworked it with pretty much all the colors of the rainbow, partly from scanned watercolor. Figured I’d share the results here. Hope you’re having a great week!

  1. Your previous one reminded of a mint sweet under a microscope, so this must be the fruity version with zingy sherbet. 😉 I’m not sure why so much of your art reminds me of things to eat -but it does. Must be the colours – definitely the colours! 😀

  2. This is absolutely stunning! I love how there are a variety of colors, but it still feels like water. I feel that refracting effect and that ripple is marvelous as well.

  3. This really pulled me in… It is visually narcotic, I love it#
