Nerve Center

Nerve Center by Karen Gadient, 2014

Created primarily with Pencil by FiftyThree, an early Christmas present from my darling husband, David. I’m really enjoying the Pencil; it’s very comfortable and natural to draw with on the iPad. It’s quickly become my favorite stylus.

  1. Very cool! It really drew me in.

  2. I especially like the nerve ending squiggles, the flashes of pink, purple and gold really enhance it. Have you tried drawing an entire picture, like a face without taking the stylus off the screen like the etch a sketch we used to have.

  3. I love what the “pencil” can do…now if I only had an iPad 🙂

    • The iPad is great for creating art, even with a only a finger–no Pencil needed. We got one years ago for practical reasons (to ‘talk’ to my mother, who was deaf and losing her sight) but it’s become a daily sketchbook for me.

  4. Awesome. And what a quote!

  5. Very beautiful! The quote is excellent too!

  6. This one is childhood memories of Christmas chocolates – the ones with all those fruit or caramel/coffee centres. It’s making want chocolate now!! 😀
