Dark Adaptation by Karen Gadient, 2014

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.

On the home page I couldn’t find a ‘like’ button so clicked the image and came here. As much as I saw—quite a few—I love ’em.

Dammit, I never went much on abstract but I love all of these. Can’t spare the time to click ’em all, so please accept this as a blanket “LIKE” for them all.

  3. Very neat…I really like the orange with the turquoise.

  4. Goes real well with Poe’s verse. (One of my favorite writers.) Nice artwork.

  5. Nice one, Karen… It goes well with Poe’s quote.
    Best wishes, aquileana 😀

  6. I enjoy your artwork, yes, very much…and your selection of quotations is especially appealing…..which makes me wonder, which comes first?

  7. I love colour against black backgrounds (with or without actual paint) it always seems very striking, something I’ve yet to try, this is an interesting example of that. Makes me think of graffiti – beautiful wall art!

I think we all need to dare to dream dreams that no-one has dreamed. That’s how wonderful discoveries are made. 🙂
