Because I needed to paint something cold now that it’s above 110°F. Whew!

  1. A/C is working overtime today!

  2. I don’t know what you call these minimalistic ones. They are my favourite! I love the darkblue contrasted against the cyan and purple. Excellent!

  3. Very powerful. I love the blue tones here, K.

Oh my god, your art is really cool. And this really does make me think of the Arctic with these cool, icey tones.

  10. I see what you mean, it does have a chilled effect, satisfies my craving for blue things, and I love lilac too – they blend quite beautifully together! It’s hot here too, so feel the need for cool stuff. But you will laugh now if I tell you that it’s 71.6 F (used a conversion chart for that, so hope that’s right) but it feels hotter than that, must be humidity. Do you get much humid weather where you are?

    • Thanks! Oh, you’ve got it right. 🙂 Today, it’ll be 40C here, and that’s with possible rain. Weather’s been mad lately… storm last night, yet still hot. We had the power go out for nearly two hours during a storm a few nights ago. We get humidity during the monsoon season (which is now) but it’s usually pretty dry here.
