Cosmic Calligraphy

Cosmic Calligraphy by Karen Gadient, 2014

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a new symmetrical artwork. I really enjoy doing them, but they take more planning. Like puzzles and art together! But I love doing puzzles, especially ones where the cats can’t run off with the pieces.

In the afternoon, over gold screens,
I will brush the blue dust of my dreams.

  1. different than the calligraphy on my wall!
    much more cosmic beauty πŸ™‚

  2. Makes me think, psychedelic (hoping you take that in the good way it was intended). πŸ™‚

  3. great work, i cosmically like it (:

  4. This is phenomenal! I love it. Really gorgeous; so much work, it’s fantastic! I like what you said about your cat too – my dog is that way. This morning I caught him just as he was going to steal my sun hat.

  5. So cool! Like looking through a kaleidoscope πŸ™‚ x

  6. There’s a lot of detail in there!! πŸ™‚ You mentioning puzzles made me wonder what this would be like as a puzzle – pretty puzzling I would imagine – certainly a challenge! I used to hate puzzles as a child, but I an handle them a lot better now, Despite my mother buying me kiddy puzzles from the age of four, I just never was good at them.

    • Thanks! πŸ™‚ I have good memories of doing puzzles with my mother; I always think of her when I do puzzles now. I think the trick to enjoying puzzles is to always do them with other people instead of alone.

      • Yes, I agree! Puzzles are always much more fun with someone else, two heads are better than one, and you can have interesting conversation, tea and scooby snacks at the same time!! πŸ˜€
