Amplitude

I’ve been out of town, stressed, full of emotions, and busy with life. I’m grateful for the chance to sit down and express my inner mind’s chaos with a bit of color.

I know things will work out; they always do with my dear David by my side. Family, also. And friends too: thank you for being here. This is my birthday week, and I find myself more thoughtful than in previous years. Guess that comes with age and change! Cheers to the rest of the year ahead, for all of us.

Trust the dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.

Many happy returns of the day! A big cake and candles to blow with family and friends. Who needs the stress?

  7. Happy Birthday, Karen! Warm thoughts sent your way.

  8. Love your blog Karen. So full of color!

  9. This is reminding me of an ice cream dessert I used to have as a kiddy in the 70’s, it was strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream sandwiched together, and looked a bit like this when you swirled it around in the dish! There I go again with the food – it’s because your art is always in delicious colours!! πŸ˜€

I hope your birthday week has turned out good for you Karen, and those stresses leave you alone very soon. It’s not a bad thing to be thoughtful though, emotions can make us feel a lot worse sometimes, but I’ve often looked back on times like that and realised everything needed to be churned up and thrown in my face for me to acknowledge it all and then slowly move forward to the new me. I’m sure I become a refreshed character every 7-10 years. Change is scary though, it connects to the unknown – and I really don’t like the unknown! I hope life and thoughts become much less rocky for you very soon. πŸ™‚

Just thought I’d mention – I’m preparing the links for the post with your art at the end of it, and also for the sidebar, just double checking you are still ok with that? I’ll give you a link to finartamerica in the sidebar image, and also to your blog on the post. Hoping to publish by next Friday or Saturday. It will certainly be the most colourful ad I’ve done so far! πŸ˜€

I chose a similar color palette to ‘Noise Gate’ because you’d said it was tasty too. πŸ˜€ Thank you for the birthday wishes; the stressful things will work out in time. Sure, I’m still okay with you sharing my art and links. Curious which art you might use?
