Microbial Landscape

Microbic Landscape by Karen Gadient

I’ve been sick with a nasty head cold for the last few days. While hopped up on cold medication, I did this painting. Created with Procreate for the iPad.

I love the image but not the fact you’re sick. I hope you feel better soon!

  5. I love how you always use different digital graphics programs. I’ve never heard of Procreate, will have to check it out.

  7. Girl you have amazing energy !!!

  8. Karen this is quite a lovely piece. The flow of abstraction and layered colors are mesmerizing. I stopped by your collection of book covers. Fantastic work. Also i must say that it is a pleasure to run across a artist so skilled with digital media. I promise to spend more time with your work.

Thank you for your encouraging words, Walter. It’s always an honor to receive compliments from fellow artists. I’ll be exploring your work more too.

  9. Truly lovely work as always Karen, especially given you were on those cold meed’s. I tried photographing outdoors one time after taking a cold medication and the results were hilarious but not at all what I was trying to capture. Microbial Landscape on the other hand is stunning. Thanks for posting so we could all enjoy it.

  10. Hope you feel better! I really like your artwork, by the way πŸ™‚

  11. Very individual work, very alive!
