Trip the Light

Trip the Light by Karen Gadient

[Second in a series of vivid splatter paintings.]

Sometimes I make art. Sometimes I make a mess.
But whatever I make—it’s colorful.

“The world is your kaleidoscope, and the varying combinations of colors which at every succeeding moment it presents to you are the exquisitely adjusted pictures of your ever-moving thoughts.” — James Edward Allen

  3. This definitely reminds me of a kaleidoscope! I used to love my kaleidoscope when I was little, no matter how anyone explained to me how it worked, it always seemed like some kind of magic! 🙂

My grandfather used to make kaleidoscopes out of stained glass. I always loved them as a kid. I still have one of his ‘scopes.

  4. I consider that Color Therapy. I need your blog for a dose of it. Vivid colors make me happy.

  6. I’d love this to be made up in a rug. The colours and textures would be fabulous together, lovely.

  7. Stunning work Karen… And that quote fits well here …
