The Unexpected Expected

Family of Flowers 2

We’ve had some life changes here. Without going into the details, I’ll just say that we need to focus on taking care of my mother right now. I might not have time to read blogs or write posts (although I will try, as it can be therapeutic).

I will be back when time and events allow. The blogging community means a lot to me and I’ve made many friends here. If you want to reach me while I’m away, please feel free to email via the info on my ‘about me‘ page.

Take care and see you soon.

I’m touched that you thought of me when choosing nominees, although I don’t have the ability to participate right now. Thank you. Love your blog too.

      • Honestly its no problem taking part or not. It’s me just giving your great blog a shout. I understand your in a situation and no pressure intended. I would rather you deal with whats important. A blog can wait and so will your followers.

  15. Hi Karen, I hope it all works out and you take of yourself as well.

  16. Hope everything is okay. Your patient and loyal followers will be here when you get back.

  17. That’s a difficult job to do Karen, and I know what it feels like to be in that position as I had to care for my mother over 10 years ago now – the hardest job in the world, like being a mother to your mother. I totally understand you taking a break from all this blogging – it’s enjoyable but actually quite hard work sometimes – a lot of reading and also comments, all takes precious time! I really wish you and your family all the best and most of all hope that it is possible for you to get any help that you might need. And I’ll certainly be here when you have the time to return!

Apologies for the late comment on this, but there’s been some real problems with WordPress lately, and I haven’t been able to leave a message on quite a lot of blogs as the comment box was not accepting I was logged in and wouldn’t let me post it! It seems to be resolved for me now, but some others are still having trouble. It’s been a real pain – so fingers crossed this is going to post OK!

  18. I hope all is well with your mom. I’ve honestly missed seeing you on my blog. I wish the best with everything and that all will be well going forward. Take all the time you need. 🙂

  19. I wish you well. We’ll be here when you get back. The blogging community is much like your real-world community. We understand there are times to circle the wagons.
